feedback from installers: Why cant the columns be punched for where the rafter connects intio the coloum on leanto's? This would save so much time on installers having to work this out manually. Builds would be become more effecient especially on Aussie and amercian barn designs

Is there any update on this please, nothing has been done about it yet? Very frustrating as a builder , when everything else is punched but leanto to colours isn’t, and there is no measurements in a zero drop leanto, American barns there is. Seems odd

There is a leanto project that is ready for programming that is going to make some changes to leanto's and this may include punching where possible. 
There should be a measurement in the construction manual of the height of the leanto rafter for installation, but punching where possible would be better. Like Kevin mentioned below. Where the leanto is located on the haunch bracket this will still require drilling on site as we can not pre-punch the haunch brackets. You would need a slot all the way up the flange side and the haunch bracket would fail engineering.

Or at least provide a measurement to bottom of the leanto rafter similar to the knee brace measurement currently provided

Kevin Lynch: no just punch them out create a final solution not a band aid

Jake Earl: some of those punchings will be on the haunch bracket for zero drop leanto or larger sheds with a 300mm drop
