Why is it that we get charged $295.78 ex GST in the BOM for whirlybirds when Steelx are buying them from Metroll?

I could walk in off the street and buy them for less than that from Metroll. It is $80 more than what you can buy them for from Bunnings when you include GST.

We don't even bother with standard whirlybirds and offer the solar ventilators.

Same as insulation, it's not a standard produc tfor Metroll so they don't discount it at all. We would be better of working with a National insulation supplier like CSR who also supply the ventilators and have them ship to Metrol for Consolidation just like eveything else.

We buy direct from Metroll and send them with the job. It's ridiculous to pay that price.

Tammy Maurer to be honest we do also. We shouldn't have to though, the rate we pay through Steelx should be fairly similar to the account price we can get through Metroll.

Phillip Fagg Yeah it's not ideal, just a lot more room for missing things off deliveries etc.
