Can all Windows and Glass Sliding Doors in SMS have the option of having a flyscreen? A right click option like Roller Doors have with making a wind rated door. I saw a post from 2021 about windows but the option hasn't been raised since.
Personally, I think every opening window should have at least a mesh flyscreen, especially with the raised bushfire dangers.
If down the track we could have a custom size option like we do with roller doors that would also be great, but that may be a stretch at the moment.

BAL Options would be great. Just remember though that as you increase in BAL windows (especially Residential) need to be increased. AMIA is able to supply allo of these so just a bit of extra programing to select the right combination.

Absolutely - one standard fibre glass that suits up to BAL 12.5 and the aluminum to BAL 19 and up to BAL29 - on the standard windows and standard GSD - would be nice to start with.

Phillip Fagg there are a lot of fly screen options. I would think that 1 x basic and 1 x BAL rated would be ok. What do you think?

I think 1 Basic Mesh and 1 x say BAL19 Rated option would be good, gives a pretty decent bushfire rating. I think here in Lismore, we don't have anything higher than that, but as you get further south 19 would almost be the low end option.
Next step might be a side menu for Bushfire Ratings though, similar to the Solar and the slight change to the engineering it goes through. Having an option for Sheds to be protected against BAL12, 19 etc. up to FZ with the additional things like the doors and windows would be a leg up over anything anyone else does at the moment. I know it would involve a bit of writing in the program to make happen though.

Ashley Gale: we discussed BAL screens at the conference because we have many sheds that required them, and they were supposed to be in SMS post conference. We would love to see BAL and regular screens included ASAP.
