We are currently seeing 35-40% of our sales enquiries as carports. When positioning carports to existing homes, we are seeing cases where structure overlaps existing concrete pathways and driveways. I would like the ability to shift position of columns from corner, within the software, say a drag and drop, or nominate a canter lever dimension. Currently this must be done using external engineer. The additional cost to client, and the turnaround of design changes/additional costs could easily lead to loss of sale. Also, currently, we can apply the additional engineering fee to quote, however don't know the impact on pricing for engineer design changes ie. member size increases, therefore increasing the overall quote costs to client. On the same note, it would be good to individually apply each column connection as - bolt, cast etc. This is beneficial when a bolt down is needed for a single column connection only. Thank you
