Management Locks for Solar

Can we look into an option for Jobs that a customer is wanting Solar Provisions built in, that if you need to make changes to the quote, you can remove the management lock to make the changes you need to make and it removes the solar off, and gives you a warning that you have removed the solar option and would you like to put it back on, and it goes back to the design team to approve again before you can send it off to the customer. Surely that would be a better option than having to redo the quote all over again, because we know how fickle customers can be, and also due to location errors for doors and windows.
I know there is the note on the Support Centre, but there must be a better way to work with Solar Optimisation.

Yes, great idea Phillip, could it not be put in additional items section? (Like the tick to print plans) so you tick a box - and it gives a warning before you accept the quote?

Another option for the Management Locks is just to lock the parts of the job that are affected by the Solar Panels.
We should be able to change guttering, sheet types and colour options (Matt to Standard or Standard to Zinc), Ventilation and Vermin Proofing, Additional Items that aren't in SMS, Windows and PA Doors that don't affect the structure.

Yes that would be nice!

We need a better way of implementing Solar that doesn't require us to only have to resubmit for engineering if certian dimensions are exceeded or there needs to be a standard 2 stage review of the building one when solar is selected and then a second on order of manufacturing to confirm if any further changes have been made.
