Thanks Sam we will look into this. Has any of your certifiers pointed out where in the NCC this is required?

Will Bristow: Hi Will, thanks for your reply - this has been a discussion from the builders/installers and that is what they are hearing around the traps. I just want to make sure that if we (all of the Steelx brands) are meant to be providing this, then as a company we all need to comply. That is if its legally required. At the moment we are providing it if there are skylights, but not for the entire roof. I think it would be good to get some reassurance from Steelx either way. Below is a snippet I was sent from one of the builders.

Sam Didio: Hi Sam, we have researched this and it is not part of the NCC but WH&S. The snippet that your builder provided you is just one of five fall prevention measures listed. This is something that we can look at adding into the franchise settings to add safety mesh applied to all buildings over 2.7m high but if you have a look at the below link, your builders may already one of these control measures covered.
Control measures are about half way down the page.
Let me know your thoughts about getting this franchise setting added.

Will Bristow: Hi Will - thanks for getting back to me. I think it would be beneficial if we could have roof mesh added as a franchise setting. I think there are 2 safety factors here - the mesh will help post build & then there are the safety preventative measures that fall under the builder. Thanks again, I do appreciate your help & input.

Sam Didio: Thanks Sam. I will raise this task with programming.
