Could we run the rear mezz bearer behind the EWM and keep the EWM full height, wouldn’t that be stronger (and easier ) than having the rear EWM in two pieces ? I realize the rear bearer would need to be longer by the width of the columns each side but still seems to make sense?

Can all Windows and Glass Sliding Doors in SMS have the option of having a flyscreen? A right click option like Roller Doors have with making a wind rated door. I saw a post from 2021 about windows but the option hasn't been raised since. Personally, I think every opening window should have at least a mesh flyscreen, especially with the raised bushfire dangers. If down the track we could have a custom size option like we do with roller doors that would also be great, but that may be a stretch at the moment.

It would be great if we were able to put mezzanines in lean-to's, like the picture attached. I'm getting more and more enquiry for this design, especially with livable sheds.

Any reason why we NOW cant delete motors from BOM prior to ordering (up until a few weeks back we could)? If customer changes their mind, this was a simple fix. I have just been told we need to roll the job back. Seems like another stupid Steelx decision to make things harder for us. Also instead of supplying the rubbish motors from centurion why can't we supply merlin silent drive for the smaller doors (we already supply the Grifco for the larger doors). If we are about quality - these are the little things that make a big difference.

Would it be possible to include a "Typical" DEB design to our concrete specs and drawings for use up to say 1.5m? There are very few projects that are installed onto a flat level surface. Most of the time the pads when leveled they are not compaceted properly and we have to use extended piers and custom DEB's to fit the site. With applications going through council the certifiers are no longer happy to use "best practise" contruction for these but are insisting that these simple designs are included in our drawings. Fully understand that there is a point where individual site engineering will be required but most of the projects i have done over the last couple of years where DEB design have been required do not change muchin regards to the concrete and reo design. It would save a lot of time money and potential risk if these details were included in our typical drawings so that we can direct our contractors to be consistant with whats expected and satisfy certifier requirements.

feedback from installers: Why cant the columns be punched for where the rafter connects intio the coloum on leanto's? This would save so much time on installers having to work this out manually. Builds would be become more effecient especially on Aussie and amercian barn designs

Can we please have the kit floor plan on the quote home page for the kit home range rather than the brochure front page. Then also attached as part of the quote. Customers will then be able to relate what we are quoting to a visual for what we are supplying.

Improve the weatherproofing of the garaport connection

Would be good to have a cheaper insualtion and more suitable for walls (like Unicell and Performa 8) to be able to ship out with shed kits

Now that it looks like we will have the option to remove the flyscreens form the GSDs can we have the option to add Flyscreens to the regular windows and even the option to select aluminium for BAL requirements?
